Speaking

Scott offers the chance to share his deep, personal story with your audience to generate a truly remarkable encounter with Christ.  While bridging the gap between twelve-step recovery and Christian love, he offers hope to those without, and encourages everyone to seek God in all things.  Check out some endorsements supporting the profound witness and effect his talks have on others.

Four unique, essential witness talks are available for your next event:

LOOKING FOR GOD IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES

In some way or another, we all suffer from addiction. The lies that we tell others and ourselves can make us oblivious to what is really keeping us from experiencing full communion with God. Scott discusses the various ways that addiction takes root in our lives and offers his own experience around alcoholism and addiction to show that freedom is available to all through the gift of God’s mercy.

BREAKING FREE OF DISAPPOINTMENT AND SHAME

The weight of disappointment from past failures and hurts can put up a crippling block to experiencing God’s love for us. This weight can keep us from being the people want to be and the people God created us to be. Much like His proclamation to His apostles after the resurrection, Jesus Christ makes all things new by proclaiming, “Peace be with you”.

LIVING THE JOY OF THE GOSPEL

In many cases, experiencing true freedom here on earth comes at the cost of experiencing the shackles of slavery. The things that we hold and control so tightly are often those things that inhibit the most beautiful expressions of joy. Scott references these experiences of joy throughout the Gospels and shares a touch of his own journey to make clear that the Christian path is not one of gloom.

ARMING YOUR BELT WITH A SET OF SPIRITUAL TOOLS

Millions of people have transitioned from a life of hopelessness and futility to a life of peace and rich spiritual experiences. How have they done it and by what miraculous ways has God entered the lives and hearts of so many who have once felt abandoned? Scott explores the basic principles of healing and recovery to apply practical suggestions for all who want a revolutionary attitude toward life and God’s universe.

“Through a series of turbulent events and dark circumstances, Scott Weeman was re-born of his faith through recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction. While born and raised Catholic, it wasn’t until he stood at the turning point between the darkness of addiction and the Light of Christ that he had a conversion of heart that has been life changing for him and those around him. Since being awoken by the “Good News” he has continually been showered with the grace and love of God through the sacramental life of the Catholic Church.

The gifts and experience offered to Scott through recovery have allowed him the opportunity to share with others who suffer from all forms of addiction and darkness. As a speaker, he weaves his own personal testimony of God’s mercy into a variety of key topics that relate to everyone and inspire hope.”

Msgr. Steve Callahan

“Scott has a powerful testimony about being ensnared by an addiction to alcohol and drugs, then overcoming it—one day at a time—through the grace and mercy of God. He is a witness to hope for those battling with an addiction and for all those in search of a deeper relationship with God.”

“Scott is a gifted young man who does an awesome job sharing his message of Faith, Hope and Love.  We were blessed enough to have Scott share his message with our high school youth and our parishioners.  His ability to reach youth and young adults through his challenges, struggles and his love for his faith is amazing and a true gift.  God has truly blessed Scott with this gift, and we were very fortunate to have him take the time to share his message with us.”
