Do I have to join CIR+ to access the membership website?

Yes. You must register for CIR+ to access the membership website’s resources and benefits. You can register for $12/month or $120/year. Start your free 12-day trial of CIR+ today.

Can I try CIR+ for free to see if I like it?

Yes! When you sign up for CIR+ you automatically receive a 12-day free trial. So, you’ll have 12 full days to explore all that CIR+ has to offer before you’re charged the monthly or annual fee (depending on what membership plan you signed up for). Of course, if you decide CIR+ isn’t right for you, you can cancel your account within 12 days and you will not be charged.

Can I share my CIR+ login with others?

Each login credential is for one user only. However, you can certainly invite others to join CIR+. We hope to offer a “pay it forward” option soon so that community members can invite and pay for someone else to have full access to CIR+. We’ll keep CIR community members updated about that feature via email.

Is there an app I can use on my mobile device for CIR+?

While we have plans to offer a CIR+ app eventually, there is currently no app available. However, you can access CIR+ on your phone since the membership website is fully responsive to mobile devices.

Is this a donation?

What is the difference between CIR+ and the Advocate's Circle?

CIR+ offers paid access to several resources designed to help nourish and sustain CIR members on their recovery and spiritual journeys, opportunities for deeper fellowship, and courses, videos, and written materials related to recovery and the Catholic faith. Becoming a CIR+ member requires payment for an ongoing product/service and, as a result, is not a tax-deductible donation.

The Advocate’s Circle offers an opportunity to become involved in CIR’s mission through regular donations. While members do receive some benefits for signing up to become an Advocate’s Circle member, its primary purpose is to allow members to financially support CIR. Unlike payments made for CIR+ membership, payments made through the Advocate’s Circle are donations and therefore tax-deductible. Learn more about the Advocate’s Circle.

When will I be charged for CIR+?

As a member of CIR+, your card will be charged $12/month or $120/year depending on the payment method you select. Charges will continue on that same date for each subsequent month or year of membership. You can cancel at any time by updating your account in “My Account” on CIR+.

We’ll help you get over that 90-day hump and reach a major milestone to finding lasting recovery. As a member of the Pathway, you’ll:

  • Learn about practical recovery tips, such as the five daily habits to start doing today to find freedom
  • Receive regular emails building on previous ones that integrate Catholic wisdom with 12-step insights to help you build and maintain healthy practices—one day at a time

Expert-Facilitated Webinars & Series

As a CIR+ member, you’ll have access to live CIR webinars hosted by experienced CIR fellows with a variety of addiction backgrounds (alcoholism, drugs, lust-related addictions, restricted eating, loved ones of an addict, etc.). You’ll also have access to a library of previously recorded webinars on topics from finding a sponsor to making the most of meetings to overcoming resentment.

Participate in the Living the Steps series, our 22-week virtual series of working through the Twelve Steps using The Catholic in Recovery Workbook. As a participant, you’ll:

  • Meet other CIR members to forge new relationships and potentially find a sponsor
